Section 8 Media release

Naturally Musical ("the Studio") may photograph, video record, or otherwise capture images or recordings of students during online lessons, the End-of-Summer Jam Session, and any related program activities. These images or recordings may be used for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes, including but not limited to use on our website, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), printed materials, and advertisements.

This release is granted without compensation and may be used at Naturally Musical's discretion. You may revoke this consent at any time by submitting a written request to our studio email.

Section 9 Assumption of liability & waiver

1. Nature of Activity. I understand that participation in any and all activities offered by Naturally Musical Music Studio, including but not limited to private online music lessons, group lessons, in-person lessons, workshops, recitals, jam sessions, performances, and any other studio-sponsored events or activities, is voluntary.

2. Assumption of Risk. I acknowledge that participation in music instruction and related activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical strain or injury resulting from instrument use, repetitive motion, or extended practice; hearing sensitivity or exposure to sound during lessons or performances; trips, slips, or falls during in-person studio visits or events; technical or equipment-related issues during online sessions; and any other risks inherent to music instruction and studio participation. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of myself and/or my child.

3. Release of Liability. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Naturally Musical Music Studio, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives (collectively "the Studio") from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind — whether known or unknown — arising out of or in connection with participation in any studio activity, lesson, event, or program, whether conducted online or in person.

4. Studio Property & Equipment. I agree that Naturally Musical Music Studio is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal instruments, equipment, or belongings brought to or used during any studio activity or event.

5. Online Platform. I understand that online lessons and virtual events are conducted through third-party platforms and that Naturally Musical Music Studio is not responsible for technical difficulties, internet connectivity issues, platform outages, or data security issues beyond its control.

6. Code of Conduct. I agree to conduct myself and/or ensure my child conducts themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner during all studio activities, both in person and online. Naturally Musical Music Studio reserves the right to dismiss any student or participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others, without refund.

7. Medical Authorization (minors only). In the event of a medical emergency during any in-person studio activity or event, I authorize Naturally Musical Music Studio to seek appropriate emergency medical attention for my child if I cannot be reached in a timely manner. I agree to be responsible for any associated medical costs.

8. Indemnification. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Naturally Musical Music Studio, its owners, instructors, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from my participation or my child's participation in any studio activity, lesson, or event.

9. Governing Law. This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Severability. If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Section 10 Agreements & payment

Refund Policy Summary: Full refund if cancelled by June 22, 2026. 50% refund if cancelled June 23 – July 6, 2026. No refund after July 6, 2026. Missed lessons are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice through August 24, 2026. Registrations are non-transferable.
